Is anyone having trouble signing in on
Yahoo this a.m.?
They say my Password is Invalid.
I have NOT forgotten it, have not changed it.
Went to where you can get a new password,
in case you "forgot" your old one, which I
haven't. Yahoo ask for your birthday and
pet's name. Now..they don't like the pet's
name I gave.
Is anyone else having problems?
I wrote them but afraid I will only get a
"form letter" response back.
I sure don't want negative feedbacks because
I can not tend to auctions and contact my
winners.
You are right !!
Right before your response I received Yahoo's
standard form letter...they said do this...
do that...etc....well, IF they had read
my E-Mail they would have known I have already done ALL of that.
I just tried again...STILL can't get on and
STILL can not get a new password.
So... I give up !!!
When I have called them on the phone before,
I am on hold long distance for 20 mins. then
get kicked off.
I do appreciate your reponse though..thanks !!

Why not just abandon that ID, and create a new one. If the account is no longer active, you may be able to open under another ID and use the same CC for verification. Good luck, in any event. Mint

NO! If you try to create a new one with the same credit card, yahoo will freeze that account. I tried it before....

I tried just now and had no problem signing in. I notice that none of the responses above mine indicate whether the posters had tried to sign in. Your problem may have been a glitch which is now solved. Try again.

In the event the account is no longer good, or "frozen". Use another CC if you have to, and get another ID. Is this particular ID that important to you? If not, get another one, and move on.

auctionqueenie
Interesting. That may be the case in an 'active' account, when trying to create another on the same card. But, in one which is no longer 'active', whats the harm? It's no good either way, if that is the case.

I had my first yahoo account kicked off that I was using for auctions. Yahoo froze every account that I had afterwards that I tried to sign the CC on. Why was I kicked off?? I bought a little girl's outfit from a seller and she cashed my check and never sent the outfit. This was in August. In September after waiting over a month for the outfit, I rated her bad and said I'd change feedback when I received what I paid for. She went off on me. She kept changing her story. Then she said she sent it to this old address that I had on the check. I had my address on the envelope, and three e-mails. I had a forwarding address at my old place, so I would've received it. I rated her bad and called her a thief. Yahoo kicked me off then saying I violated TOS. They then removed where I rated her bad along with a few other negatives from other buyers saying they didn't get their stuff either. So then her record is squeeky clean. Since this has happened, this same seller has had a rash of bad feedback from other buyer saying they didn't receive their stuff either. I also find it mighty funny that before my account was deleted, an anonymous party who saw my negative on her id sent me a link to an item of hers on ebay. It was my outfit! She had reauctioned it off on ebay. Yahoo kicks me off and lets her stay on and rip off more people. Go figure! They then went through and kicked off all ids registered at that isp address. They actually banned me from the internet auctions and I was finally able to get back on by using a different mailing address and changing my credit card number with my CC company. I was already planning on leaving Yahoo anyway after the sh!t they pulled on me, but the fee thing just made it a little sooner. I like bidville much better because you have real people answering your questions instead of robots.
I filed fraud charges against her, and the post office did nothing.
