I go to My Auctions, click Options, click Edit Contact Info, and voila....
Yahoo! is asking me enter my e-mail password to my Yahoo! e-mail account that has been virtually inaccessible for the past two days. Enter password, "Connection Timed Out".
Where can I contact Yahoo! for a quick response? I tried writing tech support with no human response.
Is there any other way to change my e-mail address while my Yahoo! account is inaccessible?
Call customer care at 408-731-3335 between 6am-6pm Mon-Fri. 8am-6pm Sat & Sun. I had trouble updating my email address also. I had received a letter with a verification code to enter and directions on how to do it. At Paydirect.yahoo.com I logged in and entered my security code and my wallet screen appeared not the overview screen where I could enter the code (as the intructions said would). I got pretty heated up when I kept getting email back from Yahoo! basically telling me to do the same things over again that didn't work. I finally called customer care and talked with a rep. Even he wasn't clear (or thought I was a BDU, Brain Dead User) that I was not going to the proper screen to make these changes. "By accident" and something never mentioned in the original set of instructions or by his direction, at the bottom of my wallet screen I clicked finished. Didn't know what else to do. That took me where I needed to go. Either Yahoo! takes for granted that everyone knows how to navigate around their system as well as they do, or they had a process change and didn't update their documentation. I brought this foible to their attention. Hope this helps?
