Hi everyone,
I left Yahoo when they started charging too. I just went back recently and posted about 5 or 6 U.S. coin aucitons, and to be honest, I could not believe how high my auctions went for!! (and are going for) Hope they keep on getting bids! Hope everyone has great success at Yahoo or whatever auciton site you sell and buy at! I will list more when these end and give you an update,

You will always get bids starting at a penny, with no reserve. If your current auctions close at what they are now, you may not be so happy, except for the '63 Franklin half dollar. I know your hoping the max bid of six cents for that other coin, does not end there.

I also left Yahoo with my 100+ item inventory, today I noticed the listing fees have changed to a reasonable level.

So I listed ten items, all 10 day first bid wins auctions. Most items under $25.00

Sold 2 audio cassettes within 4 hours of listing (both to the same bidder)....bidder also has a 20+ feedback.

Have not collected payment yet, but it does not appear to be a shill bidder???

43072508 Secrets of Wealth...1st Bid Wins $6.50 Mar 04 12:53 PST [Re-Submit][Manage]
(Bidders name was removed)

It is somewhat encouraging, and appears to be worth testing.

Hi Charlieone,
98% of the time I start my auctions at .01 and No reserve. and 98% of the time they exceed my expectations. The Eagle that is at .06 will probably sell for 7.00 to 8.00 dollars. (hoping anyway) I also do this on e-bay too with great success. I figure if it works for me, stay with it. LOL. I might get burned once or twice, but that is part of the game. I really enjoy the online auctions. Hi fsdinc, I hope your auctions continue to do well! Talk to you guys soon,
Dan

I wish you well, but that gamble on a slow site is not for me. Good selling always, Charlie

I am not sure what you are talking about, the fees are the same, as the day they were implemented, on January 10.

I agree what is this: , today I noticed the listing fees have changed to a reasonable level.

Fees have changed??? I just checked Yahoo and I don't see anything about adjusted listing fees. The fees weren't the problem - at least for me, it was that they are listing fees, which I don't believe is reasonable on Yahoo - I'd happily pay FVF fees equal to eBay on Yahoo, but not listing fees on Yahoo.
