Yahoo can add a free relist to their current fees and attract sellers away from eBay and bring back many X-Yahoo sellers. Compare Ebay and Yahoos current fees.

It would not work for me. My items take the right person to come along and they always did, but sometimes it would take a couple of months. So, if they come up with that plan, it still won't bring me and my over 600 ++ feedback, back.

Yes I understand that some items are only profitable on free sites or with FVFs only. I have these types of slower selling items listed on Bidville. I actually prefer listing these with Bidville because you can list for months without relisting.
I would not want to see Yahoo go back to being a free site or charging FVF's. I'm looking for an alternative to eBay for faster selling items.

Sorry, still not interested, need to see a change of attitude at Yahoo, and some eating, by Yahoo, of the "humble pie."
At the moment, I'll stay with eBay where I normally don't have to worry about a relist - anyway, I don't see Yahoo is at all interested in having any of their former sellers back.

If Yahoo! were interested in getting back what they lost, they would come down out of that ivory tower they put themselves in, and remove the blindfolds & earplugs.

....And then again. A Free relist might not work. I put my first listing on Yahoo since they started the fees (Jan 10). 5 days and not a single hit. This was listed under (Sportscards>Baseball). The same item received 4 hits in 5 days on Bidville.
This is an isolated example and proves absolutely nothing, but I'm starting to wonder if its worth paying ANY fees to list on Yahoo as long as Bidville or any other free site is available.
My Bidville sales (sportscards) are pretty much at the same level as I was doing Yahoo.
Maybe some categories would still do better on Yahoo. And at the current fees, they should be doing much better. I don't believe Yahoo's "take it or leave it" approach accounted for Bidville emerging as quickly as it did.

Sportscards, I have heard are doing quite well at Bidville. That is great for card sellers! My items have always required multiple relists, sometimes months of them, then they sell. Some may ask, then why sell? I still sold about $1,000. worth a month at Yahoo! Now, although I have written letters to former customers, etc....I have not had a "win", since the end of Feb.
I think I lost track of what I was saying! Listing fees will never work for me! I would have gladly paid FVF and considering my sales of $1,000.00, Yahoo would have made $ off of me. Their loss. I do not see them being able to pull themselves out of this one, no matter what they do. They buried themselves, alive!
