ROTFLMAO!

That speaks volumes of the pathetic condition of Yahoo!Auctions. They promised to drive buyers from all across the Yahoo! network, and cannot even manage to have their company's chairman shop there.

Or, perhaps he clicked on the Yahoo!Auctions link and found so few listings, he quickly tired and moved on to eBay.

Either way, very interesting.

ROTFLMAO!

If he had just purchased the car on eBay I could understand. Not many options for buying that item.

But it looks like he is a regular shopper for all sorts of things. AND he got out bid on a pair of jeans! Now that's funny!

Sort of like finding out that Sam Walton did all his shopping at Sears.

I don't like the media prying into the personal affairs of even prominant people. But when you set yourself up as he did then reporting the story is fair game.

Would someone please drop him an email and explain how you use a YAHOO email address to get a new ID at eBay and stay anonymous in your everyday buying. Jeeze, there must be about a million teenagers who could tell him how it works.

Moderator, this post should be deleted, as it invades privacy of Tim Googles, and so what if he shops at ebays? Most of us shops at both ebays and yahoo. So where is the crime in that?

"Sort of like finding out that Sam Walton did all his shopping at Sears."

EXACTLY---But there's one big difference. Sam Walton paid his employees to work at his Walmarts, whether he supported his own stores by shopping at them (OR NOT). Tim Koogle expects us to PAY HIM to list on Yahoo, and any show by him of NON-SUPPORT OF HIS OWN AUCTION sends out a very, very, very bad signal.

How can he ask us to list our goods on Yahoo, HIS auction, when he LENDS ALL HIS SUPPORT, through actively buying, to the COMPETITION????????!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is STILL clueless, and I'm glad this was discovered and reported. Every Yahoo seller should read this article. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

I'd like to throw rotten tomatoes at him.

Ironking-

Please don't ask questions that could cause people to insult you. It should be obvious to anyone what is wrong with the guy trampling on the sellers at HIS auction site like he did, especially claiming how great the site was, then to go to a differnt site to make numerous and large purchases? Please, the guy deserves to be ridiculed.

How can the man ever speak of the 'quality' of merchandise at Yahoo auctions again with a straight face?

Tim Koogle, whose handle on ePay, was made public yesterday, changed his handle today thinking incorrectly that would make his records there disappear from view.

His purchases in the past year include:

VERSACE: 100% Authentic Black Leather Wallet~ $154.50

jamgood polo ralph lauren cashmere turtleneck sweater - $335.00

RAFEL Black Suede and Shearling Coat-size Large- $750

WOW$2000 ZEGNA cashmere camel coat- $380

Pitti Playboy Blk Laceup Shoe 9D - $139

Pitti Handmade Shoes Blk Loafer 9D - $119

-------------------------------------

So what can we conclude about Mr. Koogle's purchases (besides the fact that he has small feet?)

I'd say the only difference between the junk I sold on YaWho and the junk he buys on ePay is the price... and I'm thinking my $49 pair of New Balance cross trainers are a heck of a lot more comfortable than his Pitti handmade black loafers...
