Would entice many sellers to return to the site again and possibly begin to use it again as an eBay alternative. Listings are scant on the site. Have tried the site again this week and sold a couple buy it now items and there are people looking at my items. Maybe the scant listings causes people to buy the best of what remains. There sure isn't much selection or competition!

Maybe the Brittany Spears promotion will have a ripple effect for Yahoo Auctions. Who knows!

Why should they?

In every press report I've seen, Yahoo!Auctions management notes that their auction site is a resounding success.
