I am finished as an online seller. I cancelled all of my Yahoo auctions and am having a huge garage sale next weekend to clear out my garage. Anything left goes to the church thrift shop. I just received the last payment for the last package sitting on the shelf, so it's all over.
It was sure fun while it lasted. Fun hunting for goodies to sell, fun meeting the nice people I've met here, and while buying and selling. And loads of fun depositing those checks!
Now I have a new 'real' job again, and I'm off to join the rat race. Best of luck to everyone left. I hope they don't continue to nickel and dime you to death with fees and increased postage at the same time the economy keeps buyers away. That the auction sites can find new bidders for you and quit making new rules daily to thwart your attempts to make a living. I hope you continue to enjoy it as much as I have.

There aren't many replies to your farewell address because there are so few Yahoo sellers left here now. Some of us who are becoming financially strapped might soon have to join you in the 'real' job "rat race".
My last batch of YaWho listings in April had little success, so I listed selectively on eBay through May. When my last eBay auctions fizzled, I quit for the summer (using the time and effort to FINALLY write a website and start listing merchandise for sale---what a chore!). I put one single "hot" listing on YaWho two weeks ago to make sure my account didn't get closed for inactivity (I don't want to lose those feedback credits, though they may become worthless). That item closed tonight without a single bid---and it's one of the "hottest" things I have to sell.
Good luck with your garage sale, and don't stay out in this heat too long! I hope that 'real' job of yours is more satisfying than the ones I've had, and that you find a good measure of contentment.
