great idea- can't figure out how to post to the .99cent auction-It doesn't have a catagory on Yahoo or am I missing it??????

It's the same process as creating a regular auction but I believe you check "showcase" then click on .99¢ category. They charge .10¢ a day for showcase.

with so few bidders,how can one risk to ask 99 cents for an item?
i sure dont have too many items i can sell at 99 cents and break even?

Hi I just am trying this too..i just went to one of the .99 auctions of the same type & category i am listing & click on submit at the top..then i realized that was what that showcase box was for...yes .20 a day..i tried it with a couple little items..well wow
i got 26 hits on one overnite..hopefully they will check out my other stuff too as i put that i will combine in my description..a good tool to get more traffic..
i don't mind doing a few even if it's just the .99 this time of year..(i have gotten some great deals at yahoo in the past LOL)but seems lots of bids on the stuff there..

The good thing about the 99 cent auction is increased exposure for you other auctions.
Why not take a chance with just one?

The 99 cent auction is on the auction home page but yahoo has variable links. If you don't see it the first time just refresh and it will turn up sooner or later.

OH GOSH sorry that is right never thought to mention it..i guess to get more things on the page they rotate sometimes you have to hit refresh a few times then it is there..big blue banner with pennies..
i am wondering..anytime you list something if you hit the showcase right?it will come up in there..you don't have to actually hit submit from one of the .99 auctions or not?
i see some people didn't realize the showcase is only .99 auctions right now so their min.bids are more than .99 but they are listed there...
I have 3 things on there & amazing how many hits,,i think people are looking at my other stuff too..we'll see how they end...worth it..to get almost 100 hits in 2 days on an item.
ONe thing there are 2 new auction boards hit COMMUNITY on auctions home page there is a message board for help & a live chat with video & voice..
(i would skip the experts board you have to wait too long for an answer)
