What's the scoop??? I've been listing some items on Yahoo and suddenly...relisting option allows only 1 or 2 times. Does anyone know if this is a temporary glitch or if they have changed it on purpose? Do they have an announcement board anywhere on the Yahoo site?

Announcement board? Puh-lease! I'm a member of a large seller group-we have been begging for one for years to no avail. Yahoo does not listen to seller concerns and have no forum to do so. You can try sending a complaint letter or question but usually that gets nothing but a "Thank you for your feedback" form letter response.
It looks like a permanent change that only 2 will be allowed now.

Yes I saw this also. Seems like that have been doing more then a few changes on Yahoo. I am sure they did this on purpose hoping people would think before relisting. I think Yahoo Auctions are becoming more popular and they are trying to weed out some of the junk. I am sure that we will see more changes on Yahoo and of course as always with Yahoo we won't know ahead of time it will just happen. I have never seen an anouncment board on Yahoo I wish they and Paypal would get one and use it. Paypal kind of has one but only to say how good they are. The need one to let people know what is going on and what may or will be changing.

Yes, this is AWFUL!! It takes SO long to relist manually, I need MORE than 5 times, not less! Please Yahoo, put it back to 5 or more. Otherwise, I'll be able to list far less, and my items are not junk, they are quality. This is terrible news why ruin a good thing???

it looks like the 2x relist is perminate every thing I listed last week even to auto relist 5x ended after only twice which really sad since I listed near 50 items for 2 to 3 day auto relist 5x
yahoo does have a message board for auctions but its not link to from there auctions you have to get to it from the link on there home page click the more yahoo link no one posts there though really many question no answers
I went there a few times and read through question asked months ago that went unanswered . I guess yahoo auction users just dont like to search things out how Ironic since yahooss main purpose is as a search engine

Rumor is that bidders have been complaining to Yahoo for months about the number of relists, and sellers listing in the wrong categories.
First result was "Neighborhood Watch", now this.
I DO ALOT OF BIDDING on Yahoo, too.
It is a super place to get a good deal. If you are too lazy to look through the listings and find the good buys - why not go elsewhere???
I'm getting so-o-o-o sick of having absolutely ZERO input as a seller! Doesn't anyone realize that without the decent sellers - THERE - IS -NO - SITE? BTW, I realize that the same argument can be made for bidders who actually PAY, but seeing the deadbeat problems multiply like weeds on EVERY site in the last year makes me think that alot of these "bidders"
should be reclassified as "jokers",
since they apparently are only around for laughs.

GOOD GRIEF - it is now only 2X relisting- that is going to be a nightmare....but guess we will have to live with it -
Although I have only been active on Yahoo a few months - I have been on eBay for years....I found Yahoo so refreshing, but it is getting more and more like eBay every week - scary.....
No response to inquiries, no response to complaints, they do what they want, when they want, and the hell with everyone...
Just like old Greedbay - or could it be they are changing so they can either buy out or merge with old Greedbay!

Maybe yahoo is makeing changes just to try and be a bit more competitive in the auction markets.
they are still one of the only auction houses where you can list for free. If you want extra frills you pay for them. i am not oposed to to paying a little extra to feature that special item, i won't feature everything. And only being able to post 2 times is a hassle, and a bit more work on our end. its not all that bad. there are many times after posting an item for 50 days that i wish i did not, because i wanted to move it or make changes you can't do with the edit features. But all and all i am very pleased with yahoo.
