I filled out a Yahoo survey and when they asked what they can do to improve the auction site I mentioned the poor way my pictures turn out with the jpeg format, and they quickly made the change. Now buyers don't have to squint at my pics or blame me for poor picture quality. Thanks Yahoo, you guys are the best!

It took about 6 months, but they finally made a seller change the way they ran their auctions (obviously misunderstood by new users). They no longer state you are bidding on the "right" to purchase the item at the manufacturer's cost. They now start their auctions at the price they want with realistic S/H, not $1.00 with the S/H being $19.99 to $250!
I sent Yahoo Auctions a thank you note!
As soon as they change the title of the HOT category (it bothers me for some reason to see an item touted as "HOT" with only 1 bid) to something like a sample of current or live auctions, I'll be even happier.
Then, the only remaining obsticle, (for me anyway) will be some large companies being allowed to have images in their auctions of items they are not currently auctioning (TOS violation) that are live-linked to their private sites (including one private auction site)! It bothers me to have any potential bidder re-directed to another site without full disclosure that clicking on an image or link will result in being re-moved from the Yahoo community. Buyers are still hard to come by on Yahoo Auctions. Don't want what few we have to be wisked out the door!!!
I am hopeful things will continue to improve.
