I visited the Auction Chat room during the discussion of the new WAREHOUSE platform Yahoo will launch end of October. The Auction Host said "we're getting lots of questions about auction fees..." Duh! It was called "auction chat".
I don't remember ever once in the survey I took being asked if I wanted a place like HALF.COM!!!!
The HOST said this "platform" came about as a result of seller's request and surveys!

I couldn't have said it better myself!!!
So much for Yahoo Auction chatting. Although, I did bombard them w/questions about the auctions - maybe they'll feel guilty and find a way to answer them later
I give up trying to figure Yahoo out. I know that in my business - every opinion counts and no answer is a dumb answer. I hope Yahoo is being honest about "listening" to the sellers opinions. If not - I suspect they'll keep spinning their wheels trying to move up but never really getting there.

Don't feel alone! That is not survey, I took either! This appears to be the same as the last chat...when they decided to jam listing fees down our throats.

They haven't announced changes to the Yahoo Auction venue yet. Yahoo Warehouse seems to be a separate initiative. Long overdue in my opinion and a no-brainer for a top brand like Yahoo! If you've ever tried selling on Half.com you'll know why this is a great move for sellers. We have too many auction sites, but not enough Fixed Price Marketplaces. I did a search several months ago for Fixed Price venues and all that seemed to come up was Half.com. That's all going to change with Yahoo Warehouse and others springing up!
Apparently Yahoo doesn't want eBay to become the ultimate facilitator of eCommerce. They're going to put up a fight!

Yahoo warehouse??
They must have just deleted all of those auction surveys. The survey did not even mention anything like a yahoo warehouse.
Another example of Yahoo ignoring the opinions of auction users.

The Half.com concept (Yahoo Warehouse) was something that users had requested Yahoo add almost a year before Yahoo sent out the recent Auction survey. One has nothing to do with the other. At least it shows Yahoo is receptive to suggestions although they do a poor job of communicating that they take us seriously. Just like this Warehouse concept was dropped out of left-field, they'll probably revise auction fees without warning as well.
Now if only Amazon would listen to ideas to rejuvenate their Auction venue.
