I am selling both sites : yahoo and ebay
and my income 99% from ebay
yahoo only 1% of my sale
both it is ok, I wish it could be another ebay, so we can have more choice.
Now they changed the policy, seller from
Canada, must post the listings on .ca
no more .com!
I just Make $200 to $300 per month in Yahoo
for me, I don't care! But I am upset why
they will have this policy!
SO stupid!

Big deal. If 1% from yahoo is $200 - $300 then you are making $20k to $30k per month from eBay. That is great money even if it is Canadian. I dont think I would sweat it too much.

If I was makeing $200 or $300 a month on all my auction at yahoo I would be in hog heaven.
I just started listing there many of the changes they are makeing look like it will make a big difference there and many big ebay sellers are moveing there items over to yahoo over the past week and I sure there will be more to come as ebay pushes the checkout feature now that the only part if it thats not optional is the form of payment you can ask for.

Even the big boys are jumping ship due to checkout so how weird does that sound? If they wont listen to them, why listen to us? The japanese are smart enough to steer clear of eBay! Yahoo is the #1 site in japan.

i read on i think cnet ebay even lost a big Japanese company i believe due to checkout..they won't even bend for the big guys..my hubby says they have a plan they want to get rid of us...well good ...sick of their ever changing rules..
good luck everyone there is a new board at yahoo if you need info..ps i am sorry about the Canadian sellers i would write them & go post a message at the boards there..good luck to you

I talked to staff over the phone
since I found out I cannot use
the yahoo! billing option
She told me it is new policy!
and I only can list on the .ca side
Canada side is not as quite as people
thinks, same as ebay.ca
both good to me , depend what you
selling. I sell travel ticket in yahoo.ca
and sell diamonds in ebay.ca
both ok, not excellent, both o.k.
if you have 100 products, and everyone
make few hundreds for you , then you
will worry about the season, one product
down and another will be up!
So I still doing o.k. after 911.
But I just so upset on the stupid policy!
The ebay checkout!, I was not used to
and keep complaining, but after for a while
I start to use and find out it is pretty
tool to use, I start to like it pretty
much, same as my brother, he loves that
new function, save a lot of work
It was horrible at first 10 days
and later on , really good idea to use

some of us are paypal preferred account holders and use their debit card for 1 1/2% cash rebate,so we cannot use ebay checkout/
i dont know what future does paypal have on ebay, paypal just posted new policy effective dec 6 that to maintian paypal preferred account status, you must list at least one itme in 3 weeks on ebay not to lose your preferred status with paypal.
which indicates to me there are some sellers on ebay which are not listing.
if paypal wants to use their ebay sellers to keep their share of ebay business and more and more of these sellers do not list becasue of no sale, then where will paypal be when economy gets worse.
can they insert paypal logo on yahoo auction??
