My Ebay auctions tend to be elaborate. I just got a 14 day suspension for supposed adult material on my website. One of the auctions singled out was Spartacus (I sell DVDs.)

So I will give Yahoo a shot. When I used cut & paste, my auction was rejected. Obviously, Yahoo allows less characters on their auction pages.

To those that post in both places, what should I know about the difference in composing an auction for Ebay and composing one for Yahoo. I usually put up 300 auctions a week so a picture showing Kirk Douglas kissing Jean Simmons in Spartacus seems like a helluva fine for a non-nude non-sex kiss. But perhaps I can use this opportunity to expand my horizons.

ADDENDUM: I just tried to post an auction and it says refused because I exceeded 10 pictures. I use only gif and jpg and couldn't come up with ten.

I'm not sure I can be of any help, because I load my pictures using the 3 slots available from Yahoo. I haven't ever tried to have them in my description.

I found this help tutorial on uploading images to Yahoo. It gives recommendations and limitations.

Good Luck!

I'm sure you'll be as successful on Yahoo as you were on ebay. Just kidding. Comparing the two auction sites is like comparing Minot, North Dakota to New York City.
Good luck.

I think that logos and links and blocks of html count as one picture each also - so if you have 4 pictures pasted in and a couple blocks of html text and a paypal logo and an AW logo then thats 8 items - But i may be wrong.
