Anyone else have problems using the Yahoo bulk loader??
We have been using it about 3 months but 2 weeks ago it just stopped taking files.
I have emailed yahoo several times, with no help at all (finally got a canned repsonse on the 3rd email!).
This has gone on for 2 weeks now, I even called them on my nickel and they still never followed up or anything.
Does anyone on here use their bulk loader? Please post if you have had problems.
If there are any 'yahoo' people watching this board.. if something doesnt happen by Friday WE ARE GOING TO SHUT DOWN ALL OUR YAHOO AUCTIONS.

I have used the bulk loader for over a year and have not experienced any significant problems. There are a few places where you can make an error, not have the system upload, and will not receive an error message. If you will reply with a full description of the problem, I will try to help you. My first recommendation is to check the name of your .csv file. It must be yauctions_batch. If it is not this name exactly, it will not upload and you will not receive any error message. The system just ignores the file.
I have also bulk loaded many files over the last two weeks, so I know the bulk loader is working.

For about 6 months I have been uploading anywhere from 1 to 3 times a week using the bulk loader. I've had a few problems before but nothing that lasted more than a day or two.
I have checked and re-checked the file. Tried making a new one about 5-10 times.
Even deleted my cookies in the chance that was it.
Today I dug up a csv file that I had uploaded the week before this started, so I KNOW that file is good.
And you guessed it, it will not take it.
It will let me upload to the staging area but when I go to submit it will not take it.

On occasion during the last several weeks, I have been getting an error message when I submit the auction. What I do is just back up and resubmit the auction. Sometimes I get the error message 2 or 3 times in a row, but it has always gone through eventually. Other than that, I have not experienced the problem that you are having and can't really think of a reason for it.
