I have just starting trying to use Yahoo again and have some questions on images and relist.
If I list with AWpro, I don't have a thumb nail photo which is one of the greatest features of Yahoo. Is there anyway to do this with out editing once it's launched?
Also, if I add the photo after the fact and then relist with AW the thumb nail image I added is gone.
Am I missing something or would it just be better to list directly with Yahoo and forget about AW.
Thanks

I don't have an answer about your AWPro and Yahoo, but I couldn't list on eBay without AW! I don't know if they changed anything with AW Pro, but last I heard, you will not get a thumbnail from AW on Yahoo unless you launch and then go to Yahoo and upload the photo you want as your thumbnail in the #1 Photo spot. I think if you re-submit from AW, you would have to go in and reload the photo you want as your thumbnail directly on Yahoo. AW will only load the photo's stored on their servers. Your thumbnail you loaded on Yahoo is on Yahoo's server.

I list on Yahoo, and I use Yahoo's Seller's Manager. I love it's ease and you can create templates as plain or fancy as you wish and work on your auctions off-line and save the drafts to launch later. You do have to launch manually, no preset like AW. If you want to take a look at the program, there is a link on the Auction's Homepage at the top.

So you only use AW for your ebay but sell on both?
I have used AW for ebay for over a year and love it. But have some items that just won't sell on ebay in two launching and it's just too expense to keep relisting there.
I guess I'll try Yahoo Seller's Manager and do to rest manually and use AW to track.
Thanks

Yes, I actually started on Yahoo when I knew virtually nothing about auctions or computers! Yahoo was so easy to use, I posted my first auction after only having been "online" about 3 weeks! The hardest part was figuring out how to get an image created (I only had a scanner). I figured that out and then started listing on Yahoo.

I wanted to try eBay but didn't have a clue as to how to go about it since it didn't host it's own pictures at the time. I found several auctions that had great layouts and noticed AW at the bottom and found AW. Started listing on eBay. Even though eBay now has iPix, I hate what they do to an image and haven't found anyone better than AW at picture hosting and ease of listing for eBay.

Even though I will use AW for eBAY I will continue to just list directly on Yahoo. Yahoo's Seller's Manager just makes it so much nicer and I will use it until/if they start charging.

I don't really need anything but picture hosting and templates. I don't really use any other features in SM other than creating templates, creating auctions and saving drafts. I just use my seller's page to keep track of everything else. Of course, I'm strickly small potatoes and probably will never list more than 25 items at one time (usually 5-10 except on FLDs), so I really don't have a problem keeping track of who, where, when and how much!

Good luck-

Ladyjewels: The only way the thumbnail will show up on Yahoo is if Yahoo hosts your image.

Yahoo Auctions is incredibly easy to use and load images and list and has excellent seller manager tools. All for free.
ebay isn't near as bad as it was 2 or 3 years ago to list. They have made it easier to list and newer computers and internet connections make the process much easier. It's worth the few minutes to learn the system and save some money.
