I have a lot of items that would be of interest to collectors -- old theater mags and the like with pics, etc.
This seem to sell effectively on a site that allows a search of the descriptions, not just the titles. Yahoo doesnt seem to allow this. So, these items dont look like they belong there if they want to be effectively sold.
Also, without a search of the "sold" items, it is hard to tell what the value should be for some of them.

No they allow search of the descriptions. The buyer if he cares to must go to the advanced search much the same on Ebay but there they do allow for a seach of descriptions. Maybe you just need to word your title's better as that is how most of the buyers chose to search even though Yahoo lets you search the descriptions.

Well, gollygeewiz! I thought that I had tested it and that nothing showed up. Tried again and it appears the regular search looks at the desc. Well, that is good news.

Yup yahoo search searches title and discritions just type in your search and it lists evey thing with your keyword in it
