So YaFool sends me a notice at 5 pm EST that they are having a free listing day.....the same day..... so it was alraady more than 1/2 over when then sent the announcement.

I didn't check my mail until just now so all I can say is: YaFool, you haven't changed, you are still run by morons

Not to defend Yahoo! but the orginal notification came out on March 7th. We were given 5 days notice.

'Knowledge is Power" and most sellers employ these boards to gain knowledge. The third free listing day was announced well in advance and knowledgable sellers were well awaee of it via this board and the announcement board on the auction site.

You have to opt in to get notices of upcoming Yahoo events (of course that's all Yahoo events not just the auctions).

I received 2 seperate emails, one about a week before and one the day before.

The announcement board also had it posted. I have gotten in the habit of going to the auction homepage at least a couple of times a week and clicking on the Announcements link at the top of the page. Before signing up for announcements and checking the auction announcement board, I was often "in the dark"!

Hmmm I always check the announcement board on Yahoo and had time to get a little over 1000 items ready.

I knew about it thru the bulletin boards and I received a letter from Yahoo several days before. I listed over 200 auctions. I am hoping to have a few sales at least!

Perhaps zzyzx000 has too many zzzzzzzzzzzzz's in their name to keep up with what's going on in the on-line auction world.

Those who snooze, lose....

AuctionBytes and TAGnotes both are great ways to keep up the the OAI happenings.
