if a buyer did not leave you feedback, Yahoo will give you a positive feedback 30 days after the sale occured:
read more about it:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/shop/used/buy/buy-03.html
Now if something would sell. I have almost 800 items listed there have averaged 3 sales a month for the last 10 months.
Another thing that has happen at Yahoo Used ( no longer Yahoo Warehouse ) is that the order of lists of both current and sold items by a seller are all scrambled whereas they were in a chronoligical order before. To find an item I need to go through all 800 items. Lately the edit feature has been down so price adjustments can not be made at all.
Also, on eBay's Half.com you can elect to use Priority Mail on all or none of your items with one keystroke but on Yahoo Used ( a bad name since many items are brand new ) you have to do each item one by one. With the new Priority Mail pricing on 6/30 many buyers are selecting the Priority Mail option which can be very expensive if you live on a coast.

I have checked some of the really big corporate book sellers. The ones that have fairly poor feed back on Half.com. They now have a great rating on Yahoo. They list & sell alot. As I said if you look on other sites they have very mixed revues. Since people on Yahoo tend not to rate, they get a default "good". Does anyone know why Yahoo has such a low rate for sale\rateing? Is it diffaccult to go on Yahhoo? Do they hide it?

Yahoo does not send reminder to buyers to rate a seller. Amazon does and I am not sure about Half.com.
Selling on Yahoo is actually pretty good for me (DVD, CD). But books are slow.
Never tried electronics.
Anyway, it's good to have another major alternative to Ebay and Amazon. I wish Yahoo make the used goods website more pleasant and add some more functionality.

That's a good point. That new rule was probably made to help thebig book sellers get their ratings up. It is VERY difficult to leave feedback on Yahoo Used Goods. It takes a lot of searching to find the place where you can leave feedback to a seller.
Yahoo Auctions needs a complete overhaul as well. The only place the search box can be found is on the auctions home page while ebay has a search box on almost every single page. What a contrast.

Okay, let me play "dummy", I haven't visited Yahoo in a while, what is "Yahoo Used Goods?"
***Never mind I just ran over to Yahoo, and saw that "Yahoo Used Goods" is a very, very limited market, and that you have to select your item from their catalogue.....give me a break, what if it isn't in their little catalogue....sorry, that is too limited a market....

Yahoo Used Goods is Yahoo's version of Half.com . Fixed prices and shipping payable to Yahoo only via credit card who then reimberses the sellers after a 10% cut as compared to ebay's Half.com's 15% comission.
Yahoo Used Goods was fomerly called Yahoo Warehouse.
