I was going to list some more auctions this evening but I can't even get into the auction site. It just says "PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED"!
First it crashes my browser and now I can't even get into the site.

No, not just you. It died about 9pm pacific time. I have a hunch that there was an over load. Looks like it is only effecting the auction. I can go any where else in Yahoo without a problem. Hope they can fix it soon.

The crashes and overloads are standard procedures at FLDs. That may be one of the reason ebay stopped them.

I got the auctions home page about 10 minutes ago, but unable to go further. It does appear to be an overload. I guess I will be happy with the roughly 125 auctions I have listed already.

I loaded my 400+ early in the day. I've learned to get them listed as early as possible, just in case.

The only problem I had was signing in. There was a glitch, but I kept at it until it worked. Some of my auctions went on slow, but I figured it was the heavy listings taking place. Hope everyone got to list alot of items.

I ran into the problem that occurred last night also, so I just started another spreadsheet and waited till the problem cleared. I posted around 400 items, the last few coming just before the clock wound down to zero.
Thanks to Yahoo for this free listing day.

What is the best method that you have found to list a lot of items for the FLD? I had items in my inventory on AW that had been on Ebay. I had to go in & click on Yahoo Setup to change a few things and save and then schedule the item to launch. That took time and many of them were in Pending with an error due to Yahoo website. Any suggestions to make it easier for the next FLD? Thanks

I use my own database and have it export in a tab-delimited format for use in Yahoo's Bulk Loader.
1) You list auctions for 14 days, not the usual maximum of 10.
2) It's FAST. I launched 5200 auctions yesterday and it took under an hour.
3) It's free. No special fees to AW or another service.
4) It tells you immediately if something is wrong and the auctions aren't accepted.
The only disadvantage is that it takes little longer to set up and isn't for absolute beginners.

I also waited out the down period. Ended being about an hour. Once it came back up though, listing was a breeze. Much faster than before the crash. I also was able to get all of my auctions listed.
Now lets get some selling action going.
Thanks Yahoo.

I listed 400+ through the regular relisting process on Yahoo. The only thing that slows it down is having to put the shipping price in for Yahoo PayDirect buyers. A cable modem speeds up things too. Sold 6 items right away and most paid already with either PayDirect or PayPal. Everything is set with the start and buy price being the same.

Things are selling. So far better then the big E. Looks like Yahoo is a major player once again. Thanks Yahoo for the FLD.
