After looking over the auctions on Yahoo the past couple of weeks, I've got to say that the one thing that will most likely drive me away is the (apparently common) practice of uploading a PayPal banner as an image.
When I see an auction listing with the little camera next to it, I expect to see a picture of the item for sale, not a link to another site. Unless the item is really cheap (a couple of bucks or less), I don't bid unless there is a photo, and clicking on a listing that appears to contain one, only to find otherwise is an annoying waste of time.

I don't know why Yahoo counts logos AND counters as photos. When browsing you can simply click show only photos. Sellers who sent their photos through AW unfortunately won't show up on photo only search. Most sellers know you don't have to bother with a host because it's VERY easy to upload pics direct to Yahoo.

I tried the "Show Only Photos" option, and it does eliminate the auctions with a banner ad as the photo. Unfortunately, the resulting images are not too big, and the listing description is not shown, so instead of clicking on an auction with a banner in place of a photo, now it is necessary to click on a tiny photo to see the description of the item (which may not be something I'm interested in). Oh, well- I guess you can't have everything.

mrpotatoheadd,
If you'll place the SCREEN ARROW controlled by your mouse OVER the thumbnail photograph when viewing listings as "show photos only", THE TITLE of the listing will appear in a box on top of the thumbnail.
So you CAN see the listing title WITH the thumbnail!!!

Type them as many times as you want, just make sure to put the brackets around each word:
