I have a lot of really beautiful prints that I'd like to add to list on Yahoo. There are about 160 of them, and I believe that Yahoo limits the quantity or size of the pictures you can upload to their site.
Since I've had nothing but trouble trying to load my auctions from Auction Manager Pro, or Auction Manager, I'm just going to type them all up from the Yahoo site.
I want the photos to show up as thumbnails also, and was wondering if I loaded them onto my photopoint site, would they show up from there?

Hi Debbie, upload straight to Yahoo if you want the thumbnail. It is a one step process and no, photopoint won't work for a thumbnail.
You can upload 3 pics per auction, the FIRST you upload will be the thumbnail. As for how many auctions you can run, I don't think there is a limit.
You may be confused about the space and limits - there is no separate space for pics, they load right to the auction. I have also never heard of a size limit, but someone else may know different.
Just hit "submit auction" and it will walk you through. Very easy to use.

3 photos allowed & cannot exceed 1.5 megabytes total.
NOTE: A logo counts as a photo. For example, if you want to put in a Paypal logo you can only use 2 other photos.
If you wanted to import a hit counter that would also count as a photo. No one needs a counter unless they want the hits to show publicly. Yahoo automatically shows the pageviews only to the seller.
Yahoo has very strict SPAM rules. Only one ad for exact same item is allowed. As long as the prints are different you can load them all. If you have duplicates you can only run one at a time OR run one Dutch ad.
I use a digital camera for photos and load them into "My documents" desktop folder. I upload straight to Yahoo page from there.

Not if you are signed in under your user name.
Sometimes I check mine from someone else's PC doing a "search by seller ID" just to check for bids. It would count me in that case and I wouldn't be able to see the pageviews either (not being signed in as me).
It shows the seller the pageviews, the # of people who added it to their Watchlist and the # who emailed the ad to a friend.
Yahoo used to count you (the seller) as another "hit" every single time you viewed your auction listing (made me wonder why all those "hits" weren't BIDDING, til I realized the hits were all MINE!), but they've changed it.
Now they don't count the seller as a pageview AT ALL (regardless how often you look at your listing). So if no one but YOU, the seller, has looked at your listing, the "total pageviews" count will be - (0), and you can look at it 20 times and still have no hits.

That reminds me Granee, sometimes it flips out and says 0 pageviews, yet it has 2-3 different bidders current. I guess you can't ALWAYS trust it to be accurate.

Thanks ya'll! You are really great peoples over here!
Gee, I wish MY AUCTIONS with 0 pageviews had 2-3 current bidders (I should be so lucky!! ). I don't care how many pageviews I have, as long as I have those BIDDERS!!!!
I think there are some "screw-ups" in SOMETHING on Yahoo every time they revamp their software....which would account for pageview counts being "reset" to - (0).
