Last saturday I was the first of a long line of sellers to get negged by a certain bidder having fun.I decided I was not taking this rating lightly and started emailing Yahoo that same day(july 29th:2 emails, july 30th:3 emails and july 31st:2 emails)I demanded in each one that the rating be removed for more than obvious reasons.Well they finally answered today august 1st and it wasn't a form letter but a real (hand typed)personal email saying they had done it!The rating was removed! So I guess what I want you all to know is:It can be done...with a lot of perseverance...emails,emails and emails. Thanks for reading me.

I'm glad this worked out for you, I hope you will share this info. by email with the other sellers that were involved and thanks for your effort that will indirectly benefit all sellers.
I think this is a real plus for YAHOO that has not had the reputation for a high level of customer service.
I hope they realize that doing the right thing will have positive effects far beyond the initial case and the effort expended.
It would seem that more and more sellers, like myself, who in the past only list on that other site are listing much more on YAHOO.
To know that there is fair and responsive support from the customer service staff will only encourage and increase our migration.
This was the first week that my sales on YAHOO were greater than at TOS ( that other site)which is encouragement of another type that I could get to like.

Yes, thank you for posting!
I was under the impression that at all sites you were pretty much stuck with any negs that didn't contain profanity, whether undeserved or not. Some sellers do consider them "badges of honor". Not me. I'd do almost anything to avoid them. If it took a million emails, I'd probably be there emailing.
