OK, here's the scoop, I'll try not to bore ya but I'm really confused. I had an auction end a few days ago without a winner. I went to resubmit it, and Yahoo had changed the subcategories so I re-list in the same category, new sub-category...the next day I notice a bid on the item. It was a "first bid wins" auction, but the auction didn't close. I go look at the auction, and sure enough, somehow the "buy price" got lost during the re-list. No problem...I have several of this item, so I attempt to e-mail the bidder at "[email protected]". The e-mail is returned saying there is no such user ???. Ok, I wait until the next day for the auction to close. When I get the "auction closed" e-mail from Yahoo, the e-mail is actually from "[email protected]" ??? I don't have a problem shipping internationally as long as they don't mind paying the shipping charges...but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen?? Also a heads-up for everyone to be aware of....especially those who don't ship international. Also...it gives me an option to request payment through PayDirect even though they don't accept international credit cards ???

Yes, the bidders e-mail address is a UK e-mail. Also, the PayDirect feature seems really nice so far...though I haven't had anyone use it yet, when you sign up for it, every time you submit or relist an auction, it automatically checks the box that you accept. Then, when the auction closes, there is a link next each bidder, below the leave feedback link, to request payment through PayDirect. Click on the link, and it fills in all of the basic auction information, just enter shipping charges and submit it. Very easy so far...just hope it catches on and continues to work well.
