hi,i'm new to auctionwatch,it's great!i just posted auction to ebay
and received a message gallery image not working as is gif?needs to be jpg..i sure would appreciate any help anyone could give,i've read faq with no luck.thanks..ps i am just now trying yahoo too.amazon has been pretty good,and only 10 cents to list till12-31-99 ebay is getting expensive.lets hope we all have a good xmas,i wonder if people will stop bidding in december?worries about y2K?thanks for any help you can give!

As the error message said, you can't use .gif images in the gallery, you have to use ,jpg. The .gif and .jpg deal is the three letters at the end of the filename, called the extension, that identify the type (internal coding and formatting, computer language stuff) of image it is. In order to use the image you're trying to use, you need to convert it to a .jpg. Not as simple as renaming it with the extension eBay wants. You'll need to go into an image editting program, like PhotoShop, and change it.
