have been trying to figure out the Yahoo Bulk Lister since this afternoon. Thus far I got one screen that wanted to know my life history. OK. I hit submit and got a message that someone would get in touch with me if I qualify. Qualify?? For what? All I want to do is list a bunch of stuff at one time.

Then I found a page that sort of explained the bulk Lister and I think it said that I had to create my own .cvs files. This is OK, I can do that, but what the hell do I use for headings that Yahoo will recognize? How do I upload them? Where do I upload them?

Then I did a search of Yahoo (all of Yahoo, not just the Auction site), and got a *lot* of hits with all sorts of conflicting information.

Are there various versions of a bulk Listed?
Does Yahoo send you a blank form like Amazon?

Yahoo is the most convoluted site I have ever seen. It is like a rabbit warren. Is there a page anywhere on the site that gives you instructions and information in a logical way without taking you down the yellow brick road through Oz? I can't find Glinda, and I don't have ruby slippers.

Can anyone help? Frustration doesn't begin to describe....

You'll see a lint to download a sample file from this page: http://batch.auctions.yahoo.com/show/batchinfo

This is the same page to bookmark whenever you want to start the bulkload process.

I went to this page and it is telling me to fill out a form I filled out yesterday and Yahoo will notify me if I qualify.

Thanks for your help but I guess Yahoo just won't let me do the bulk lister.

Why don't you use the bulk listing software that you can download for free right here at AW? It's great!! Have been using it for a few weeks now after I couldn't figure out how to use the yahoo bulk lister. The only negative so far with the AW listing software is, the title restricts me to 45 characters even though yahoo lets me use a longer one. But it sure cuts down on time. I had 400 auctions up and running after coming back from a trip in only a short time. Would have taken days to do it 1-at-a-time.

As I understand it when you use AW listing tools including the bulk lister the images don't show up in the Yahoo gallery which I think is a big advantage Yahoo offers when a buyer does a search.

I am going to send a message to Yahoo and see what kind of response I get.

FYI,

Yahoo will now only let you bulk upload if you have a +5 rating.

That's probably why it's saying you have to be qualified.

I did get a reply for the bulk loader from Yahoo uk. I don't know how this happened but it worked.

I do have more than a 5+ rating on Yahoo. I've had an account for a while now.
