Hi - okay, I finally listed tonight at Yahoo! I spent a good part of the day going through the site (I've already won a couple of auctions there, but never sold.)
My question - I set up the booth, and it looks OK. However, when I go into the "about me" tab to check it, it says "edit about me section". Now, I am assuming (HOPING!) that I am the only one who sees this as I am the seller. I have three auctions up right now, and the booth tab is at the bottom. If anyone clicks on it, I just want to be sure I shouldn't panic that my personal info is there for everyone to edit!! My SO's computer has been fixing a damaged disk for over 3 hours, and I can't get on his computer to check it out!

You will find that when you are logged in to Yahoo, it is really user friendly. All of your personal tools are right there on the page available to you, such as editing information, managing auctions, counters, etc. which makes life easy for you. But in answer to your question, yes..they are only available to you because you are logged in, no one else has those tools available when they are viewing your page.

Thanks auctionee. That's what I thought, but had a moment there when I was freaking out!! Kept thinking I'd wake up tomorrow with some horrible things written in there!!
I did notice that when I click on my auctions there is that right side "you are the seller" info area. That's when I calmed down a little. Figured I'd come here to be sure so I could sleep tonight.
Thanks again!

cynicalflame,
Only the sellers see their OWN listing "hit count", the "manage this auction" button, the email addresses of the bidders, the "resubmit" button, the "edit" button.
If you want to see how your auctions look to everyone ELSE, you don't have to go to another computer....just LOG OUT from your user name that you listed the auctions under, and you'll see them as the BIDDERS see them. It's EASY!!!
