Now I can't use the bulk loader anymore. I'm down to 1300 auctions as 3 groups of about 150 each expired. So They new rules allow me to submit currently 1589 new auctions and i could, one at a time.

However there is a limit with the bulk loader of 2900 auctions which is the total of both current auctions and Closed auctions that you choose to keep on your CLOSED auctions page. I like to keep a history so in the past i deleted the oldest closed auctions to keep me under 2900.

What has happened is some programmer has made what he thought was a simple fix to the code to reflect the new rules. I killed off 200 closed auctions and tried to bulk load 150 new ones and here's the error I got:

"Errors check: Errors were detected while validating your CSV .....

CSV: You already have 2555 and adding 148 would put you over the maximum number of auctions we allow each user when bulk submitting (1581 Auctions). If you have closed auctions you can delete them using your My Auctions/ Closed/Sold page ."

So you see, he subsititted the new Maximum value for allowable auctions, replacing the old value which was 2900. Thus the 2555 # is the sum of my open and closed auctions while the 1581 # is the # of new auctions I should be allowed but am not.

Thus in the future, you will have to delete your entire Closed auctions list in order to have the Maximum # of auctions when using the bulk loader until this bug is fixed (don't hold your breath). This will lead to mistakes, and lots of customer compalints from buyers because this list is nearly essential to the seller.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad someone else is having this problem. I got the same error on Tues. night. I totally agree with you, getting rid of all of the closed auctions is going to cause a lot of problems.
Today, I bulk loaded with out any error message. But, that was over 4 hours ago and my auctions still have not posted. Why can't Yahoo drop the 1000 auction idea at least until they know how to handle it!
