Is there anyway to get a hold of a bidder BEFORE the close of an auction?
Reason I ask, I have an auction up and an early bidder. I just noticed I goofed in the description. It may or may not make a difference to the bidder, but how can I get ahold of them to tell them about the discription change? They may want to back out and that is only right since I GOOFED!
I am so used to eBay where you can get the addy and get in touch with the bidder OR seller if you need to. Thanks-sulyn

There is no way to get contact info before an auction closes on Yahoo. About the only option you have is to try sending an e-mail to [email protected] (replacing "biddername" with the bidder's id of course). If the bidder uses their yahoo e-mail, they should get it. If not, there's not much you can do other than cancelling the bid, cancelling the auction, and re-listing (though this might not set well with the bidder).
