I wish yahoo would consider making the auction listings default setting by 'time closing'. It is obvious the scrambled mess is affecting last minute bids by buyers.

As example, I had auctions closing tonight, and I had an item closing in ten minutes. It was on page eight? Ahead of it were items that were not going to close for anywhere from two, to ten days?

You can look at any category, and you will see bids being placed on the first page, even though these auctions do not close for days? Why? Because bidders are assuming they are getting ready to close. This never happened before. Sure, some people bid days in advance, mostly new persons though. Unless they are anxious to get a certain item.

As it is now, it is having a huge impact on bidders who can't find your auction just before it closes because it's buried way in the back pages? I know, they can click on that option. But how many people don't know that?

Why isn't 'first to close' order the default setting anyway? If people want other options that is fine, they can pick them. But 'first to close' is the most important for all bidders and sellers. Has anyone else noticed the lack of last minute bids as a result of the wrong default setting? I, for one, sure have been impacted by it.

I have been E-mailing Yahoo about this in the "PHTOS ONLY" since they did the upgrades the end of August as well as the time frame in nomenclature! Especially, since the default is no longer time sequence!

Extra clicks to sort will mean less visability!

Everyone at the time was more concerned about the rule of 1000 and now credit card verification!

I believe those who have experienced a decline in sales is greatly to these new search methods!

As a buyer are you really going to search to see what you missed out on closing bids, or how many bids on an item!

By the time you do the searches the auction will be ended!

I only look in my one many category as a buyer only to see if they maybe changed back!

Do not do much browsing to buy anymore myself!
