Does anyone else have this problem or maybe have solved this problem? I load my auctions on to Yahoo using Auction Watch. I add the picture at the initial setup.
Most of the time, the picture icon does not show up next to my item on Yahoo. Sometimes, it does, but there is no difference as to the way I set up those where it does appears and those where it does not. Any ideas?

You have to upload your photo DIRECTLY ONTO YAHOO from the "Submit Item" page to have the photo icon next to your listing. This ALSO makes a THUMBNAIL photo for your listing, visible when bidders click "Show Only Photos"---Yahoo's version of "gallery" viewing---which many bidders use exclusively. So it's a good idea to list DIRECTLY onto Yahoo rather than use Auction Watch.
