I closed an auction last week to an International bidder. I say that based on their email address. Have had no contact from this person. I sent my EOA right after the close of the auction. I did not give all the information they would need to complete the transaction WITHOUT contacting me. I do this because I like to KNOW that the buyer has received my notice. The message did not bounce, but I don't know enough about how everything works to know if that meant they got it or not. So, I resent my EOA from Yahoo! mail and advised in the email I was doing that on the outside chance my original email had not gotten through. I also asked that they let me know if they have received any of my emails. Still nothing. I don't want to bug this person, but I don't want to wake up to a notice from Y! that I have received a NEG either. I see those a lot. "Seller never contacted me after close" to wich the seller ALWAYS replies "I sent notices BUT didn't receive anything from buyer" ect.

I don't want to get into that and I am such a new seller, I really can't afford to have any negs right now for any reason! Any suggestions on what I should try next????? Thanks in advance-Sulyn

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is much else you can do. You can go back to the closed auction page and leave a message there. That way, if for some reason the e-mails aren't getting through, if the bidder goes back to the closed auction page, they will be able to see your message there. From my experience, international bidders are either the best or the worst...never had one anywhere in between. Either they communicate well and pay promptly, or they don't communicate and never pay. Good luck!

I would post a neutral feedback stating bidder hasn't responded to emails from ___ dates. Email me at ____ address within __ days or I will have to relist.

Check their newest ratings to see if other sellers are also reporting problems.

If they were to neg you claiming no contact you could respond pointing out the feedback you left attempting to complete the transaction. You would be able to change their avg to bad if that happened.

Auctionee-Thanks again maybe you should start charging me a fee!

Kasmoon-I thought of that, but I want to try any avoid FB of any kind until trans is finished. Also, this is only their 2nd transaction and the last one was several months ago, so I don't think they bid often.

Hope they see the comment and if we are having a problem with mail, they will not post FB. Of course, if they can't get ahold of me and I can't get ahold of them, I guess we're just out of luck!

Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate it. Sulyn
