I just sent an email to [email protected] that I wanted to share with you guys. I would like to respectfully request that any seller using PayDirect who agrees with me send them a similar email at your convenience. Thanks for reading this thread, and a billion thanks if you actually do email!!!!
Dear Friends at PayDirect customer care,
First of all, I'd like to say thank you very much for offering the paydirect service. I have used it for several transactions and have been
very pleased with the service.
I do have one suggestion that I feel would make the service safer and more convenient for all PayDirect
customers. I would like to suggest that the customer's shipping address from their Yahoo wallet be added to the information that the
seller receives when the customer makes a purchase. I'm suggesting this for 2 reasons: #1 it makes credit card fraud more difficult,
because a customer wouldn't be able to use PayDirect to pay for purchases using a stolen credit card without arousing suspicion
because they'd have to ask the seller to ship to a different address. #2 for convenience- so far I've completed fewer than a dozen
paydirect transactions, but 2 of those customers have neglected to put their mailing address in their communication to me, probably
assuming that the seller receives this information from PayDirect. In both these instances I lost a day emailing the customer to get
their address, when I could have immediately shipped the item had their address been included in the notification from PAyDirect in
the first place.
I would also like to know what PayDirect's policy is in case of credit card fraud that happens when purchases are made using a
stolen credit card?
Thanks very much for your time and attention to my email. Thanks again also for offering such a fantastic service. It is much
appreciated!
