I haven't had any problems getting my mail, but I have this one email that is just sitting there. I can't get rid of it. It won't let me read it, or delete, or move it.
I emailed yahoo for some help, but I haven't heard anything yet.

How do you contact anyone at Yahoo about mail problems?
I looked for some kind of contact info, but couldn't find any.

I have problems with my yahoo mail nearly every day of my life. I continue to use them, have no intention of stopping, and no idea why that is.

I was trying unsuccessfully to get rid of the email and I noticed this "help" near the bottom of the page. I can't remember exactly, but anyway, I clicked on it and it was a page where you could list your email problem, error message and so forth and so on. So I listed my problem and submitted it.
But I think it is lost somewhere, because that was yesterday and I still have not heard a word and that email is still sitting in my inbox.

Hi Verymodern..
I know what you mean. But most of the problems are just pesty little things.. This is BIG time problem to me and one I have never had before.. all day I have not been able to get into my mail account there. I keep getting a page that says there is no data there (???).. But one time I did get as far as the "front door" so to speak and it said I had 8 messages in there..
I guess I'll try to find the little "help" box..
Thanks

jm10m - I use POP and download my mail into Eudora or Outlook Express and have not been having noticable problems today. Have you tried to access your mail this way. I was not meaning to be glib, my last reply - I commiserate I really do.

I've been having problems for about 5 days. There are times when I cannot get into my mail at all. I hope it improves soon.
VeryModern, I just keep plugging along with my limited computer knowledge. How can I download my mail from Yahoo to Eudora? I love Eudora because it is so fast, but don't like only being able to access from my computer.
Thanks

packer111,
If you have an email account on an ISP already set up with Eudora, you can simply have your email FORWARDED from your Yahoo email account to the ISP account, where it will automatically go into Eudora (look under Yahoo mail "Options", then "POP Access & Forwarding", then "Forwarding" and put your ISP email address in the box.)
If you DON'T have another email account, click "Web and POP Access" instead of Forwarding, and configure your Eudora software to retrieve mail from your Yahoo account.

and packer - if you you click POP & Web access, Yahoo gives precise intructions on how to configure Eudora (or Netscape or Outlook Express).
Good luck, post back if you get stuck.

granee and VeryModern, Thanks much, it is working.
Now, one more question to show my lack of computer ability. When someone posts questions about their auctions, it appears there is a way to know how to find the auctions in question. How do you find them?

Hi packer - if someone asks a question about *your* auction, you should get an email advising you. If you click the link in the email (and are signed into Yahoo) you can answer it.
If you do not answer the question, no one looking at your auction will be able to see that one was asked. If you do answer it, the question and your answer will become visable to anyone looking.
Is this what you are asking?

You can also go directly to the auction page and click on the "Question and Answer" tab right above the auction description.
