First silly question: What time zone is Yahoo in? eBay is in CA, so 6pm there is 9PM here (EST). So what is Yahoo?
Next: (and, really, not so silly) I've asked some questions in the AW Auction Manager forum about eBay vs Yahoo
If my default listing text is eBay specific, can I have different default listing text for Yahoo? (and can I post links to eBay from Yahoo auctions, is that allowed at Yahoo?)
How do I change a pending auction from eBay to Yahoo?
I'll get back to you with the one million questions I have or will have as I start listing.

I'm a Yahoo newbie, too, but I can answer a couple of those questions. To change a pending auction to Yahoo, save it to inventory, then go into the Inventory listing and edit in the Yahoo info. Then launch or schedule from Inventory on Yahoo. I think there's supposed to be a "Change site" option on Pending auctions, but that got lost in the shuffle when the new format was implemented.
You can't save more than one default text, so you'll have to include any site-specific information in each individual listing or only launch to one site at a time, changing your default text between launches.
I have another newbie question. I launched some auctions without realizing that the photos have to be on the Yahoo servers in order to come up on a "Show Photos" search. I went back and added the photos using the "Edit Description" feature, but the photos still aren't showing up on a "Show Photos" search. Did I do something wrong?

I answered your question on the other thread you started, but I'll post it here again.
The only way to have a "thumbnail" photo show up when someone chooses to view listings as "Show only photos" is to UPLOAD THE PHOTO DIRECTLY ONTO YAHOO when you are writing the listing on the submission page. This requires submitting auctions manually, one-at-a-time, or (I assume) with Yahoo's bulk loader.

Yahoo! is in California, and usually on Pacific time. I say "usually" because you need to check the time your auctions will end, before you submit them.
Sometimes it will be PST, and sometimes I've gotten times shown as in between PST and CST, (one hour difference), from where I am. It may be the server you are on at the time you list auctions, they switch around during heavy flow times.
