I signed up a few days ago under an id that I wish I hadn't..I want a new ID name to which I can sell under, but your only allowed one ID. I know you can create alias, but can you be able to use an alias to sell under?? If not, how can I delete out all the older ID info I now have so I can reregister for a new ID. I did reregister under a new ID but won't let me sell under the new one, because of the cc info on the older ID.. I only have one cc to use.. Any info will sure help, or am I stuck selling under the older ID..lol..

I am not sure!
I have canceled an account that my daughter opened when she was 4 and did it via the link in the email they send you when you register.

and here is the help page on this, but I don't think it's too helpful.. use the link at the bottom of the page to ask Yahoo directly, and when you do, keep it simple.
This is the best way to get a response you can use instead of the wrong canned one.

Title the mail
"How can I delete my Id Please?" and repeat same message in text and you will probably get the answer. Consider they get 1000's of mails a day and don't care about a tale of woe - make their job easy.

All I can find is that you can use up to 5 aliases.

I did check my original e-mail from Yahoo and at the bottom is a place to click to eliminate the ID.

You could try e-mailing Yahoo and asking them to remove the ID if you don't have the original e-mail that was sent out after you registered.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this here? But I will give you the info you seek, if it is not allowed I guess it will be deleted:

1. Yahoo! ID associated with this account
2. Alternate email address you included during registration
3. Date of birth
4. Zip Code (International users, please include Country)

If you would like to close your entire* Yahoo! account, including access to Yahoo! Mail, please forward the same information
as above to:
[email protected] and include "REMOVE NTIRE ACCOUNT" in the
subject line of your email.

To remove just your mail account ONLY:

[email protected] and include
"REMOVE MAIL ACCOUNT ONLY"
Along with info in lines 1 - 4 above.
