O.K., I'm convinced!! Adios Ebay, Hello Yahoo!! Now, how the heck do I EASILY switch my inventory items in Ebay to Yahoo. They are all set up in AuctionWatch but I just can't seem to figure out how to change items over without redoing the whole thing (a chore that will have me reconsidering the change).

Lots of "cut and paste". It would be tremendously easy, if your items would show up in the "Show Photos" search after launching from AW, but they don't. In order to get a thumbnail for that feature, you have to upload using one of the Yahoo! methods, which for me meant transferring everything from my AW Inventory to Yahoo! one item at a time (I didn't have the necessary 5 rating to use the Bulk Loader). Using that would probably make it a bit easier, as you can use Excel to creat a comma-delimited file (.csv) and then upload all at once to Yahoo!.
I felt that having the photos show up on the "Show Photo" feature was worth the effort of uploading them one at a time. If you aren't worried about that, then you can save the item to Inventory, update the Inventory entry with the Yahoo! info, then launch from Inventory. It will be even easier if you're using AM Pro--just copy the listings, and change them over to Yahoo!.

I found it to be well worth the effort of listing individually to get the thumb nail photos-it made an immediate difference in sales! I just did a few every night until it was done.
I might add that I relisted a few things that have been on there since august and not sold-and realized they were still AW pictures! Changed those immediately!

At this point in the game I am still with yahoo but I have moved some sales to ebay I have had a lack of bidding on yahoo since april and if it wasnt for ebay I would still be sitting on most all my inventory.
sales are good right now in just a few areas on yahoo as for the rest well even the inventory numbers are way down and some catagorys just keep dropping as bids get less and less since they started the credit card registration for biders.

I switch back and forth between three auctions and I just cut and paste into my notepad everything that stays the same. Yahoo loads a lot faster than AW. I rather do my auctions on Yahoo any day. I can get about 4 auctions up on Yahoo in the same time that it takes me to do 1 on AW.
