Can someone who does dutch auctions successfuly on Yahoo give me some advice. Do you start at the selling price you want or do you start lower and let it build like on Ebay. Any advice would be appreciated. I am new on Yahoo, having become exasparated over at Ebay. I really don't want to go jumping out the door without a parachute...I don't have the nerves for it.

With most all auctions on Yahoo, dutch or regular, you need to have a starting bid of the least you are willing to accept for it. Unless it is a very hot item, most successful auctions on Yahoo end with only 1 bid.

I agree with auctionee. You just will not see a lot of bids placed on Yahoo!, it doesn't have the traffic flow yet that feebay does. I feel, in the future, as it grows that will certainly change. You start to low here, you just may eat the loss. To risky.

I like that "Feebay", if that isn't the truth. I appreciate the insights into Yahoo, I have tried in the past with absolutely no success but I thought with all the problems at "feebay" these days I might as well try again. I don't have anything to lose, I just want to see how others are doing it.
