Okay - I've decided to give Yahoo a try, but I have a problem. Does anyone know how to get in touch with a customer support person there? I registered on the site some time ago and then promptly forgot my password. In addition, I changed my email, so now I can't seem to get the magic combinaiton of things together to get in and list. I really want to keep the id I registered, as it is the same I use on other auction sites.

Hope you can figure it out. I should have checked to see if my usual ID was available before I transferred all my Wallet credits for my Ebay rating to the old ID. Now I'm trying to see if I can transfer those credits to this ID and de-register the old one. I've been writing to customer support and trying to get a real live person to answer using his/her brain instead of a nifty canned response, one of which was apologizing for any inconvenience I was experiencing because I'd registered two ID's with the same credit card. I do hope that, before they inactivate either account, they check to see that one of them is mine, and the other is registered in hubby's name with his debit card.

Not silly at all!
Just go to the main auction page and find "Account Information" at the very top on the right-hand side. Click on it. I guess you put your i.d. name in. Below the box you will find in blue "password help". Click on that, give them the information they need and I believe they will email your password to you, or else you can get a new one.
Also look for the "Site Map" listed somewhere on the main page and it should have customer support's email there. Hint: You will receive canned messages for the first 3 times. Therefore, just keep responding to them asking to talk to a live human being. You can also try in the Sellers Help Section.

Thanks pickersangel and Jan. I finally foudna way to email them, now I'm just waiting for hte repsonse. Also, how do you transfer the eBay rating into credits? I can't seem to find the original info on that. I am so techno-impaired that I always face a learning curve when I start on a new site.

Rivergrrl,
Go to the Main Page of the Auctions and over on the right-hand side under "What's New" Click on - "Convert ratings to Credits". I believe in order to do that you will have to sign up for a Yahoo! Wallet account and I am sure they will give you the information there on how to do it.
