The majority of my auctions this week have ended with no bidders. Am I alone in this?
(Well, I've listed mostly books this week, so maybe that's part of it.) But even my items that were selling like crazy last week haven't had any action. What's up with that? Just wondering, and hoping that I'm just having an off week and that it's only me,NOT everyone.

My Ebay sales are doing OK- much better than I expected actually.

Well, my sales have been waayyyy off for several weeks. My Ebay sales are doing fine so I know it isn't prices, layout, etc. I used to have real good sales on Yahoo, but now I'm wondering if it is worth the effort to post auctions there when I can post them on Ebay and probably sell them.

Slow but sales. I am finding just keep listing and what goes around comes around.
The items do sell.
I sell just about everything, toys, dolls, fabrics, estate items, just about everything but the kitchen sink, and I never know what will sell or when.
I just keep putting it out there.
Never ever will I go back to the stress of seeing my monies going to pay for listing on ebay and worrying will it sell or not.
I have found one secret !!!.
I e mail a friend and WHINE about no sales and gee some magic genie gets me sales.
Works every time.

I think the election is having an effect on all auctions this week...Mr. Gore, concede so we can get on with the business of the nation and our auctions!

justjoan- how funny that you posted what you did- right after I whined to you guys I went to check my email, and there were several Yahoo auctions that had closed by first bid wins!!!

anzco- how right you are! I didn't really think of that as I am most apathetic when it comes to politics, but that must be a huge part of it!!

dman- I am trying to learn how to do porcelain painting, and several ebay sellers I admire successfully sell beautifully painted toilets, sinks, tiles, etc. I don't think I will go as far as doing toilets, but the tiles sure are a fantastic idea...
