Try to send this morning a pay direct bill and gee added the shipping, and got the once in awhile bug, that my total doesn't add up please do again...
Why does this do it once inawhile and then work fine...
Grumble grumble....Anybody have a way around it.
Thought of adding a messaged with shipping costs after the item number, but will the customer see that.

Hi Joan! When I get that message I go to my Pay Direct account and send a money request from there. A little more work, but that is how I work around it. I haven't seen that message in a week or so. I used to get it every other transaction. Melanie

Had my first YPDirect sale last night and bidder said she had probs doing it but finally got it. Wondering - like the chicken and the egg.....

I got email from Yahoo - and there are so many choices--
1--- invoice customer (I do that on my own so if I don't do theirs, will it be recorded anyway/(I decided to do it, so my customer got (2) bills, mine and Yahoo, right? That could irritate customers I think.

2---- I finally did "something right" and saw it on my account that item # etc was there.
3----Now that I believe it is in my account - MUST I - request that Yahoo send it to my bank?? i.e. how will I know it hits the bank??
4---- Also, if a check or money order is available through YPD how do I request it??
Also, if a check or money order is available through YPD how do I request it??

Now, can someone PLLLEASE give me the "sequence of events" to use YPD?? Until a seller uses it - not sure of what to do first......
Still never found my free features..got an email that my ebay f/back was transferred but still not there or am I "looking for feedback in all the wrong places--looking for feedback in tooooo many places.." LOLOLL

Ioughta you are having a heck of a time.
First off to find your FB monies go under Options then under billing Summary and there will be your dollars you have for featuring...

On Yahoo Pay Direct. I go to my sold item, and click the send bill ypd...and send them a bill including shipping or etc...even can add a note next to the yahoo #...
Then I also send the customer an e mail with the auction closing info, and my name and address and all amounts to send etc.
Maybe it's over kill, but in the closing email that yahoo sends with winner it gives my name and address too.
I just like to send the personal e mail telling them thanks for bidding how I will accept payments and PLEASE send me a confirmation with their name and address.

Now once a customer does pay me thru Ypd, I go to the site and accept the monies to my yahoo account. Then I go to the MOVE money and move it to my bank account, or cc...
I never think about it any further, I ship the item to the customer. I've been using Yahoo Direct since it came out and the monies are always in the account in a timely manner when I check the bank statement.
Never worry any further.
Hope I answered some of your problems.

PS THANKS MELANIE for the info on the yahoo bug on shipping and how to get around it.
I can be slow at times.

Joan
