I need to change the starting prices on my auctions but I have them on auto-relist. How can I stop the auto-relist so I can change the prices? Do I have to cancel them when they start? Do I get penalized if I do cancel them? I emailed Yahoo! but they haven't gotten back to me yet and my auctions end in a few hours! Thanks for the help. See ya! Ernest

You don't get "penalized" for ending your auctions and relisting them, but every auction that closes without a winner lowers your "sell-through rate" that Yahoo uses to determine the placement of your listings on category pages.
To change the starting price, you have to end the auction and resubmit it with the new price. If you end an auction right after it auto-relists, you'll have TWO unsuccessful auctions (the first one that closed without a winner and the new auto-resubmitted one which you just closed, also without a winner), so it's best to end an auction BEFORE IT RELISTS if you need to change the price.

Thanks granee, I did that and will relist them tomorrow. Weird thing though, my quota didn't change. I guess it don't matter anyway, I still have over 900. Take care and good night granee. Ernest

Your quota of available listings won't change, just your sell-through rate. Right now, your quota is determined by your feedback number (plus 1000). Your sell-through rate is used to determine WHERE YOUR LISTINGS will be in the categories in which you place them---toward the FRONT/TOP or the END/BOTTOM.

Granee wouldn't it be nice if we could get all Lookie loos to click on the time left for items to sort them .
