Hi!
This is my first time here. I sell on eBay and things that are not cost effective to sell there, get put on Yahoo, which I have had a decent amount of success with. However, the past couple of days have been a nightmare. I can't list, re-list, leave feedback, nothing interactive. Am I alone in this? If anyone out there has some input, please contact me at [email protected].

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from some of you!

Hi!
Thanks for the reply, but I'm not new. I have listed hundreds of auctions in the past couple weeks with no problems. This is something that has popped up on 3 different computers in the past few days and I can't even get your Yahoo help link to work.

I keep getting 'server is down or not responding' whenever I try to do anything on Yahoo like submit, resubmit, feedback etc. It started suddenly on 3 different computers, including a brand new one.

I've been on Yahoo almost a year - and from time to time I have the same problem on Yahoo, I start to submit an auction or relist one and get the "server is down" or some other weird message. Normally, I first hit refresh, and often that takes care of the problem - sometimes I have to go off line and come back on. Occasionally, I will be relisting/resubmitting a long list and all goes fine and then out of no where this happens. I just stop, do something else and go back and start again.

I have had this happen particularly on a couple of auctions. I don't worry about it, I just submit a duplicate of the auction and go on.

There is often no accounting or why a system works or doesn't work, or has glitches.

First let me say that "I" do not know everything!! But, maybe it is your ISP connection, if it is happening on more than one computer and they are all dialing out to the same isp.

I know it sounds kinda stupid, but if my ISP is having trouble, I have trouble on-line.

Just a thought.

Hi!
First, thanks for all the responses and help. I thought about the ISP and called him. He's a great guy and plays straight with me and he said there's no problem(s) at his end.
It affects my work computer and home PC that use 2 different ISP's. I thought there might be a virus that had infected them, but I ran Norton's and they came up clean.
I had a BRAND NEW computer, still in the box, waiting to be given as a chrsitmas gift, so I opened it up and set it up - it has the same problem.
This inability to interact with Yahoo auctions has affected 3 different computers using 2 different ISP's.
I just got off the phone with Yahoo's tech support - they have no idea, but said they will look into it and call me back.
At this point I have to think that it's not my PC's and that it has to be some kind of regional connection problem - I'm located in St. Louis, MO.
They also told me that my account is in good standing with no suspensions, terminations, blocks, etc.
The young lady I spoke with even relisted an item for me and she said it went through immediately with NO glitches at all!

HELP!!!! I'm going into auction listing withdrawl!
