I can't get into my PayDirect account. Is anyone else having similar problems right now?

Thanks!

I haven't tried paydirect, but I can't get in to post feedback. Yahoo took an early holiday, maybe?

I can get in PayDirect, but a customer sent me her payment through PayDirect TWICE today (I know, because I got emails from Yahoo telling me so), and both times a glitch kept the payment from going through. When I used the links to "accept" the payments, there was a message that I had to confirm a non-sensical (full of computer symbols) email address to complete the transaction (which I clicked on the links to do, but the payments STILL weren't there to accept afterwards).

This follows a customer who tried to pay me through PayDirect just days ago, to no avail. She ended up paying $5.00 to BidPay.

If PayDirect can't get their act together, I'm taking it out of all my auctions, because offering it and having it NOT WORK is much, much, much worse than not having it at all.

I totally agree with granee! I had a bidder pay me through it today but I havent been able to access it since late morning on Thursday! What happens to our poor "Last minute" shoppers???

One thing about Bidpay! I had a bidder pay me through Bidpay last week, I received the email from them that payment was on it's way. so far, nothing. It has been almost 10 days. It could be the "Santa Mail" has things tied up right now. Any other similar experiences?

I got into my account this morning. Maybe the glitch is fixed.

I just wish that they would send the money to you faster than they do. I told my husband that it would probably be the middle of Jan. before I got the payments for Dec.!

At least I get it.

Couln't accept a payment for a couple of hours, but the glitch was fixed after that.
Transfers into my checking account take about 10 days, which is a little long, but the payment does show up eventualy!!
Merry Christmas, everybody.

We had the same problem of accessing Paydirect, made the call to yahoo and a solution was promptly emailed to me.

For IE, First I had to sign out of yahoo, then went to my internet settings and deleted my temporary internet files then cleared my history then signed back into Yahoo and got into Paydirect to confirm and accept payment. It is crucial to sign out of yahoo, something we all forget to do and yes it is a hassle to re-enter the info and password but sometimes when you dont it creates havoc and makes the more secure pages inaccessible.

If anyone wants a copy of the directions for IE or netscape please email me [email protected].

P.S. Another problem with PayDirect, I was using the nice little link to send winners an invoice, it was easy, I was able to leave a note with the other payment types we accepted and my mailing address, this also left a message in the comments that I sent this winner a paydirect bill and the date it was sent, which only made me use it for everyone because the proof was right on the item page that I did contact the winner. Well after about 200 of these invoices and 30 days later all the winners who did not pay via Paydirect got Letters of cancellation, which confused everyone, I had more nasty email then I care to tell, some thought I owed them money, some thought I was trying to get paid again and god bless the international sellers with limited english who can't even use Paydirect.

Yahoo is great, I am willing to work with a company that is willing to admit a mistake and actually appologize for any inconvenience. Keep it up Yahoo!!!!

Rollanotherone I have the same problem. I send Pay Direct invoices to all my buyers when the auction ends. I was cancelling the invoice when they paid a different way. That was very confusing to the buyers. Lately I haven't been cancelling them. I was hoping they would just go away after a certain time. Are you saying after 30 days they get a cancellation notice even if I don't cancel it? Melanie

YES!!! They dont go AWAY!!! I did as you did a few months back tried cancelling myself then saw the letter that was sent then had hoped they would go AWAY too!! LOLOLOLO!!! They come back, Yahoo's paydirect sends you and the buyer that did not use pay direct a letter of cancellation after 30 days!!! I have 2 more left, I had hundreds of these out!!! I had a heck of a time explaining the situaton to the ones who wrote to me, Even the back out buyers who I left a poor rating for got them. Yahoo didn't know this was going to happen either, can you imagine what their email looks like?

Hopefully you didn't send as many out or resent the invoice more then once. It was nice using it, so easy, so much freedom from the keyboard. Maybe they will fix it so we can make use of it, I love the idea of it leaving a note with the date of contact on in the autions comments, no one can say you didn't email them that way.

Good luck

I transfer to my debit card and they are always in my account within 2 days. One was actually there the next morning.
