Hello. The new shopping pages for the gallery look fabulous! Once again I am thinking about signing up for the Vendio gallery. I remember awhile back that there was something about how the gallery functioned relative to displaying categories of items that depended on whether the gallery was inserted in one of the Vendio default locations or the gallery code was copied and custom inserted into the description area. Can you clarify for me if that is still the case, and if it would influence how the shopping pages are displayed? Thanks.

Hello,
You have several options regarding the gallery's placement on your listing; by default, you can insert it at the top or at the bottom, but you can insert the HTML code for yourself if you would like it displayed somewhere else in the page.
Also, you can chose between four gallery styles, each one of them different and designed to attract customers.
Basically, the items and the item order displayed in the Gallery are independent from its placement on the page. It only depends on the style and on the settings you chose from your Gallery Preferences.
Best regards,

Hello. I think it was that if the gallery was put at either top or bottom vendio default location the pictures that were displayed would be in the same category as the item in the listing. But if the code was pasted into the description then items from all the seller's categories would be displayed. I would like to have all my items displayed, even those in different categories, without having to paste the code into the description. Will all my current auction items show in the gallery regardless of category with the gallery in the top default location? Thanks.

My first attempt at using the marquee style gallery in the top default location went off without a hitch. All the correct pictures are there, all my categories are being pulled in just fine, and with the custom color settings it is beautiful besides (well, at least I really like it!). Thanks Vendio!!!
