I've signed up with vendio, and started playing with it. How can I create a custom template with my own html instead of choosing a ready one and editing?

For a fee the engineering team can rewrite your template and place it into the custom templates section here in Vendio to select from when listing your items.
There is a bit of a wait for this, but if you would like it to be done go ahead and email us all of the code and images so we can get the project started for you.

Even the basic auction management softwares let you enter your own html. I'm disappointed about this. But anyway, I'm getting a new template designed, I'll order a custom template after it's ready.
For now, I have created a template. But I use ClicPic, and I want to enter my own images in the description, and I couldn't find a way not to show the images in the template. How can I do this?
Sorry for the confusion, I thought you meant you wanted to store your HTML code into the template system that Vendio offers, so you could then just enter your description text as though it was one of the regular Vendio templates.
That would have allowed you to just upload your images and attach them the same as you would if it were a Vendio template.
If you wanted to use your own image hosting as well, you could certainly paste all of the needed HTML code for the images and description directly into the blank listing form that Vendio offers. Just select the 'blank template' that we have listed and be sure to preview the ad prior to submission.

But I couldn't remove the images in the template. Even though I have the image in description, vendio template also shows the image. Blank template has "Embedded Layout" which doesn't show the images in the template, but blank template is not fully customizable (or I couldn't figure it out). Any ideas how to remove the automatic image insertion to the template?
Also, I have setup fix S&H rates for this auction, they show in the template, but this message shows "Shipping costs: Check item description and payment instructions or contact seller for details" so I believe it will not show the fixed S&H to customers if they use ebay checkout. Is this right?
If you don't want Vendio to display an image in the ad, remove it/ don't ad it as you create the ad. The image is not actually part of the Template, it is part of the information that you insert while creating the ad itself. So, go to the ad itself and edit it to remove the image.
I looked at the live test item and at the item in your Inventory. You've changed the shipping cost, but you have put it in the right place so that your buyers will see it as they check out and final price can be calculated for them to be able to pay.
The reason for the message that you mention is that you have chosen in your eBay Site specifics to Not Specify eBay Shipping. This just means it is not displayed through the eBay mechanism, only through Vendio. If you want the shipping to display at eBay, sign in and click eBay under the Site Specifics section. Near the bottom of that page you can choose to specify shipping at eBay.

I already thought about this, and I guess this is what I will do, but this way, I won't be able to see the thumbnails of the products (it will be hard to recognize the products at a glance if you think about thousands of products). It'd be much easier if you had a template where users were able to enter their own html instead of asking a fee for it.
Back to play with the software, cause I have to decide to stay with vendio or not by tomorrow. Thanks.
