I am having a large problem lately with customers seeing their items marked as paid on Ebay when I have not received their payments yet. I am not doing it, and the items are not marked as paid on Vendio either. This is leading to some angry customers who do not understand why I am telling I don't have their payment when the item is marked as paid. Any clue if this is soem automated feature of Vendio? If so I need it stopped ASAP!

Hello,

This is a side effect of eBay's checkout redirect system unfortunately. Anything where the buyers to pay through a means other than PayPal, and if you use the checkout redirect system, eBay will automatically mark those items as paid.

It doesn't make sense, but its how they set it up to work for the time being so unfortunately the only workaround (if you can call it that) is to stop using the eBay checkout redirect.
