I want to list Fixed Price auctions through Ebay.

What columns do I need to have filled out in Inventory and Site Specifics. I have successfully listed Fixed Price items, but when I go to list new Fixed Price items, they come out as strictly auction.

The Fixed Price listings that were successful had the Start Bid column filled in with the price and the other columns had "0.00" and in the Site Specifics section, the Start Bid was "none", BIN and Reserve were 0.00 and FP and Ebay Store were filled in with the fixed price.

When I use these same columns in my new listings, I get an error that says the Start Bid has to be more than 0.00.

Why did it work one time and not others?

Hello,

As long as you have a value in the 'fixed price' field of the 'site specifics' tab, you should be able to save the listing without entering a starting bid.

If you have already entered a default start bid value on the main inventory tab, go ahead and enter one into the site specifics field as well since you won't really be using it for your fixed price listing anyway.

Hi Chris,

Still doesn't work.

I have "0.00" for starting bid in Inventory.

I have Default selected for starting bid in Site Specifics.

I have a Fixed Price in Site Specifics.

I have Ebay Store Price in Site Specifics.

Still won't let me save unless starting bid in Site Specifics is greater than 0.00.

Now what do I do?

Hello,

If you are listing also the details for the eBay storefront, you will need to enter a starting bid price as well.

If you were going to setup the item just for eBay as a fixed price item and thats it, it would allow you to leave the start bid field blank.

When you enable the eBay storefront as well, you will need to enter a starting bid even if you never use it. (you shouldn't need to, but it ties into the auction item by default and indicates the same required fields.)

Regards,
Christopher
