Hello. I have 10 auctions launching tonight that so far are going well. After the launches started, I noticed that the first 2 had a 5 day instead of a 7 day duration set by mistake. I edited these first two items in inventory after launch so they will be correct at relist (in my Launched Items folder) and double checked the unlaunched ones which were all correct. I then went to ebay to revise the 2 items for duration only. When I revised the duration of auction for the first one and submitted the revisions, all the font characteristics in my listing description except for the font colors were lost so I cancelled the revision on the second and left it at 5 days. Compare 330030514694 revised to 7 days from 5 days and 33030517017 not revised.

Why is the appearance of the text lost from the ebay html when only the length of auction duration is changed? What this means is that no mistake can ever be revised on ebay without messing up the listing appearance. Is there any way to revise an item on rbay without the listing's appearance submitted by Vendio being messed up? Thanks.

Hello passedtothepresent,

Not sure that we can assist you with this one. If I'm reading your post correctly, you made all revisions directly on ebay, and I do not see that you currently use our reviser tool...I couldn't explain why the text had changed in your description area even when you had not revised it.

That said, if you were using our reviser tool, you could extend the dates out on your listings either individually, or by creating rules-these revisions would have zero impact on the description area of your active listings.

Hello Ed. Thanks for the reply. The loss of formatting of text occurs on the ebay revision screens so I assumed code was being changed because I was submitting a revision. But looking at the revised auction live this morning, the text is formatted just fine and I now have successfully revised the other one as well. My text formatting does not pull in correctly to the ebay revise your item form during the revision process, but it seems to have pulled in correctly on the preview and live views later. Sorry to trouble you.

The ebay form shows my text with some sort of default basic text (looks like a small point arial) bypassing the vendio code for font formatting for text type and everything else but color. I use the feature in the Vendio template workshop for template-wide font formatting. Does anyone happen to know where in the code of the overall template that gets applied? I think I had one previous case where I revised text and the revision came out the ebay default and I had to cancel the auction, but that doesn't seem to happen if I change other things besides text.
