When I have an item that closed in an ebay auction and the buyer did not pay I go to relaunch it from the summary page and it always ends up under error and does not go active.
Also if I have an identical item and I want to sell another one that is the same shouldn't I be able to relaunch it from the summary page without having to build a new listing?

Hello,
When you click the 'error', what does it say?
Perhaps it references not having enough quantity to satisfy the request. If so, you would need to edit the quantity in inventory prior to relisting the item.

here is the error i get.
The following message was returned from the scheduler while attempting to list your auction:
The venue ebay has possibly returned the following message:
Launch has been canceled because quantity available was smaller than requested
if the item has not shipped the quantity shold still be 1.

Hello,
When an item is sold it is removed from your quantity available - not when the item happens to be marked as shipped.
If a listing was sold and you are not going to followthrough with the sale, you would need to add back to the quantity available for this item in inventory prior to submitting another.
