Hello. I had a customer purchase 2 of my items. I am not using the Vendio checkout but I am using Vendio postsale. I combined the items on the Vendio invoice and sent the customer a combined ebay invoice. The customer has paid at paypal under the address of record, but the paypal information has not been detected by Vendio postsale like it usually is. What do I have to do to get the information there so I can print invoices etc. Thanks.

Hello,

Not sure what you mean about not using Vendio Checkout, but you are using the postsale? Did your customer pay you directly through PayPal and not through the checkout link you sent them? I would need the item number to have a better understanding of what happened.

Regards,

Ed

Hello,

Note also that Vendio does not currently offer support for mapping combined PayPal payments unfortunately.

We do however hope to offer support for combined orders in the future.

Hello. Hard to know how to say this any clearer--I use Vendio for postsale but I do not use the Vendio checkout. I use Vendio for everything except the Vendio checkout (similar to Neglus' system).

I use the ebay checkout with no redirect to Vendio and no links to the customers from Vendio. I do not send WBNs to be sure they will never get a Vendio checkout link. I send ebay invoices instead of WBNs. No one pays through the Vendio checkout or a Vendio checkout link. I accept only money order and Paypal.

If customers arrange for a money order through the ebay checkout I use the ebay checkout information and complete the Vendio checkout for them myself so I can manage their invoicing and other postsale functions through Vendio. (Not a problem because essentially no one ever sends a money order).

When they pay by paypal The information is captured by the Vendio checkout via postsale acceleration from the Paypal email notification, their address appears in their Vendio postsale account, and the payment information and paypal transaction number with a zero balance are rolled in and appear there for me to invoice. For auction number exampless, please access every single-item closed auction paid by paypal in the past 2 months or more in either my closed auctions or archived under the account passedtothepresent. They all have/had the buyer's address and payment information from paypal automatically imported by postsale acceleration. The most current auctions in my postsale summary are also good examples (330044498341 and 330037775337). I did not enter their checkout data. Postsale acceleration imported it into their Vendio postsale accounts. Both customers accessed Paypal through the ebay checkout, and when I received my email from paypal the information was also accelerated into my Vendio postsale accounts for them.

For the current auction where the person has paid and the information was not imported from the paypal email sent to my Vendio/ebay registered email address, please see the only combined order in my postsale summary (ORDER 909414690, auctions 330044504806 and 330044500277). I have received the paypal confirmation of payment letter as with the single auctions but no data has appeared in the "checkout". Is there something about combining an order that blocks the ability to recognize paypal payments? The email addresses of the customer and mine and the paypal mailings are no different than with single-item auctions.

I have to invoice and mail to this customer later this afternoon, so if I don't hear anything before that I'll complete the checkout myself so I can invoice. But I need to know why it doesn't work for combined items. Thanks.

Hello,

It doesn't work for combined orders because we don't support it at this time, per my post above yours.

Christopher

Sorry--I was typing and submitting my response to your first post before you entered your second post. Hope you do add this feature in the future for combined items.
